All On-Site Classes are held at 157 S. Orchard Street, Suite 2, Wallingford, CT 06492. Our facility is spacious, air conditioned, and is easily accessible from major highways in CT.

 

 

How to get your

Real Estate Salesperson's License in CT

 

What you need to do:

 

To obtain a Real Estate License in the State of CT, you need to take the 60-hour Principles & Practices of Real Estate Course and pass the exam with a 70% or better. After that, you may register with the Department of Consumer Protection to take the State Exam. Passing the State Exam with 70% or better will earn you your license.

 

Principles & Practices of Real Estate- Night Class:

  • Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6-9 PM
  • Total of 21 sessions (attendance at 20 is required)
  • Next course begins Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009.
  • Tuition: $395, Books: $75 = Total: $470

Once you have your license...

 

You need Continuing Education (Post-Licensing) Classes:

 

Every two years, persons with their real estate licenses are required to take four 3-hour Continuing Education classes. We offer plenty of Online versions of these courses, but also hold classes in-person. The following is a list of the classes we offer and their scheduled times.

You can take coursework for your Broker's License!

After a salesperson has had their license for two years, he or she can take courses to become a real estate broker. Brokers can sell real estate on their own, so they can open their own firms!
